Aadhaar Card is a 12 digit individual identification number that serves as proof of identity and address for the resident of India. The Unique Identification Authority of India(UIDAI) manages Aadhaar services and keeps improving several offline and online service from time to time and provide a hassle-free experience service to citizens.

Recently, UIDAI has discontinued the order Aadhaar Reprint service. The agency shared the information through their Aadhaar Help centre Twitter handle. Nowadays consider one of the most important document when it comes to identity verification in the country. Starting from services like registering for the Covid-19 vaccine to opening a bank account and availing to the government schemes.

In response to a user’s inquiry on Twitter about getting a reprint copy of the Aadhaar Card, the agency(UIDAI) informed that the service has been discontinued and is no longer lasting. Agency also shared the information about Aadhaar PVC Card which can apply online otherwise print e-Aadhaar in a flexible paper format if he wishes.


Now tell you that Aadhaar PVC Card launched by UIDAI in October 2020. New Aadhaar PVC Card is compact, waterproof and similar to ATM ones. It is too much better than the old paper format and easily carries without tension also support offline scanning.
