The new Emergency Data Loan facility offers the flexibility of ‘Recharge Now and Pay Later’ functionality to Jio users who run out of their high-speed daily data quota and unable to recharge immediately due to any reason.

The loan data continue with your existing plan and it can be availed through the MyJio app. The new service offers a simple yet powerful solution to Jio users ensuring continuity of seamless high-speed data experience.
The prepaid users can borrow up to 5 emergency data loan packs of 1 GB each value Rs.11/- per pack. The maximum lending pack is 5 or the amount is 55.
How to avail Jio ‘Emergency Data Loan’ via MyJio App─
- Open MyJio App on your mobile phone and go to the ‘Menu ‘ option which is on the top left of the page.
- Select on the ‘Emergency Data Loan’ under mobile services.
- Click ‘Proceed’ on the emergency data loan banner.
- Select the ‘Get Emergency Data’ option.
- Click ‘Activate now’ to get the emergency loan benefits.
- Emergency data loan benefit is activated.
Jio ‘emergency Data Loan’ payment process─
- Open MyJio App on your mobile phone and go to the ‘Menu ‘ option which is on the top left of the page.
- Select on the ‘Emergency Data Loan’ under mobile services.
- Now click ‘Proceed’ on the emergency data loan banner.
- Select pay for the ‘Emergency Data Loan’ option and the total amount reflected for payment.
- Select any online payment mode for the data loan like UPI, Debit card, Jio money etc.
Note: The emergency data loan facility can be used again and counter auto reset to 5 after payment at any time.
