PM─DAKSH Yojana “PRADHAN MANTRI DAKSHTA AUR KUSHALTA SAMPANN HITGRAAHI.” Know all about it.

 

Recently Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched the ‘PM-DAKSH’ portal and ‘PM-DAKSH’ mobile app to make the skill development schemes accessible to the target groups like Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Safai Karmacharis. The app has been developed by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD)



PM-DAKSH Yojana is being implemented from the year 2020-21 under this eligible target groups are provided with the skill development training programme on 

  1. Short Term Training Programme.
  2. Up-Skilling/Reskilling.
  3. Entrepreneurship Development Programme.
  4. Long Term Training Programme.
  • These training programmes are being implemented through the government training institutes, sectors skill councils that have been constituted by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and other credible institutions.
  • Marginalized persons of SC (Scheduled Caste), OBC Classes, Denotified tribes, Sanitization workers including waste pickers, manual scavengers, transgenders and other similar categories.


Implementation:

It is implemented by the three government Corporations under the Ministry, National Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC), National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC), National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC).


A target during the year 2021-22 has been set to provide the skill development training to approx 50,000 people of the target groups through these corporations.


Significance of the Scheme:

  • Most of the persons of the target groups have minimal economic assets; therefore provision of training and enhancing their competencies are essential for economic empowerment/upliftment of these marginalized target groups.
  • Many of the persons of the target groups belong to the category of rural artisans who have become marginalized to the coming of better technologies in the market.
  • Women due to their overall domestic compulsions cannot be involved in wage employment which normally involves long working hours and somethings migration to other cities, there is a need to empower the women amongst the target groups.


Objectives:

To improve the all-around competency and adeptness of 2.7 lakh persons over the next 5 years beginning with nearly 0.5 lakh youth in the first year that is 2021-22 from the following sections of the target groups.

  • Artisans may be able to improve their revenue generation capacities within their practising vocations.
  • Women may be able to enter into self-empowerment thereby financially empowering themselves without rejecting their domestic activities.
  • Youth from the target groups may acquire long term training and specialization in employable vocations giving them better standing in the job market.


Duration of Training:

  • Short Term Training Programmes duration 500 hours.
  • Up-skilling Programmes duration 80 hours nearly 10 days.
  • Entrepreneurship Development programmes duration 90 hours or over 1 month.
  • Long Term training Programmes duration 6 months to 1 year.


Stipend or Salary: Non-residential Trainees having 80% and above attendance in Long Term Training programme will be eligible for getting stipend Rs. 1000/- and SC trainee get Rs. 1500/- per month per trainee. Trainees having 80% and above attendance in Upskilling training programme will be eligible for getting a stipend of Rs. 3000/- per trainee.


Documents required for PM-DAKSH training programmes:

  • For Scheduled Caste applicants only required Caste Certificate issued by Component Authority of State Government.
  • For OBC applicants required OBC Certificate issued by the appropriate Authority of State Government and Income Certificate below Rs. 3 lakh per annum issued by the appropriate authority of the State Government.
  • For Economically Backward Classes applicants required an Income Certificate below Rs. 1 lakh per annum issued by the appropriate Authority of State Government and no caste certificate required.
  • For De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes applicants required undertaking in the form of self-declaration of his/her specific caste, date of birth and address along with the endorsement by the local Pradhan of the community.
  • For Safai Karmacharies and Waste Pickers applicants required only their occupation certificate.


Interested candidates can apply from 08.08.2021 to 05.09.2021 through the DAKSH portal.

  • Training free of cost for the trainees, 100% grants by Government.
  • Trained candidates will be provided certification after successful completion of training and assessment.
  • Trained candidates will be provided placement after assessment and certification.

Applicant registered on PM-DAKSH Yojana through online website https://pmdaksh.dosje.gov.in/student or android app from Play-store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.training.pmdaksh.


Visit the official website of the PM-DAKSH portal and complete the registration via three steps with the required documents.

1st step Basic details─ applicant fill all basic details like Trainee name’s, Father’s or Husband’s name, date of birth, gender, State, District, Pin code with location, Education qualification with category, Upload photo under 10 to 50 Kb, Active bank account since last 6 month, Confirm bank account linked with Aadhaar or not, Submit mobile number and verify via OTP then click on next step.


2nd step Training details─ applicant fill all training details like address, job role, institute name where applicant choose to train, nest job role and training institute then click on next step.


3rd step Bank details─ Fill Bank account holder name, Bank name, Branch name, Account number, IFSC code then click on ‘confirm.’


If all steps are filled correctly then the registration process is complete. Registration through android app PMDAKSH applicant install the app and confirm to ‘allow’ photos and media then follow the same procedure of website registration in above mentioned.
