Google Photos Launched more than five years ago with aims to manage peoples photos and videos easily and store memories that have evolved into a place to reflect on meaningful moments in our life. Today more than 4trillion photos and videos are uploaded and every week 28billion new photos and videos are uploaded. Google provides free unlimited cloud storage service where upload photos and videos with high quality.
The effect of changing policy on users─
Now Google photos unlimited cloud storage benefits are ending and it will be changing unlimited cloud storage policy from June 1, 2021. Starting June 1, any new photos and videos upload will count free up 15GB of storage that comes with every Google Account. After completing 15GB storage or anyone who want additional storage then can purchase plans start at 130 rupees per month 100GB and storage always share across Drive, Gmail and Photos.
These changes don’t affect the Pixel 1-5 smartphones. This means that photos and videos uploaded from that device will continue to be exempt from this change, even after June 1, 2021.
Existing photos and videos are not effecting by this change even quality also, this means that photos and videos backed up before June 1, 2021, will still consider free and exempt from the storage limit.
Backup photos and videos in original or high quality, these change doesn’t affect as always backup quality is our choice and it up-to free 15GB. Our backup quality change at any time in the Photo app by going to backup and sync in settings.
Manage storage by personalized─
Don’t panic today because 80% of peoples should still able to store roughly three or more years of photos and videos with free 15GB storage.
