Massive Bank Shutdown in October 2021: Checklist of total 21 days banks will remain shut

 Bank holiday plays a very important in our lifestyle, and October is the month of the biggest festival in India. That's why it is essential to know everyone this month bank holidays. Bank holidays vary as per particular state. So they don't seem to be identical in all states told. Only gazetted holidays are observed by banks everywhere in the country. According to the Reserve Bank of India bank holiday calendar, there are 21 days in October, including regular holidays like 2nd Saturday, 4th Saturday and Sunday.

In October, the holiday under the Negotiable Instrument Act and Bank's Closing of Accounts, in keeping with RBI guidelines, all banks include the General Public sector, Private sector, Foreign Banks, Cooperative Banks and Regional banks across the country will remain shut on notified holidays.

Banks play a very significant role in our personal also as professional lives. So we rely on the bank for lots of things like deposits, withdrawals, loans, other financial transactions and banking facilities. Already said holidays vary from state to state, so customers are advised to go to the website of their respective banks but RBI has also made second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays of month compulsory for all banks to stay shut.
