Check Bank Holidays in December 2021: The Bank Will Remain Shut for 12 Days

  Bank holiday plays a very important in our lifestyle, that's why it is essential to know everyone about bank holidays. Bank holidays vary as per particular state and doesn't seem to be identical in all states told. Only gazetted holidays are observed by banks everywhere in the country. According to the Reserve Bank of India bank holiday calendar, there are 12 days in December, including regular holidays like 2nd Saturday, 4th Saturday and Sunday.


In December month, bank holidays under the Negotiable Instrument Act. In keeping with RBI guidelines, all banks include the General Public sector, Private sector, Foreign Banks, Cooperative Banks and Regional banks, across the country will remain shut for 12 notified holidays. In this month mostly impact on Shillong and Aizawl banks customers as almost holidays belongs to these state. Most of the people may get face trouble in end of third week and start of fourth week of this month.
